On Sep.09th, 2019, Leung Chun-ying, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Lam Lung On, president of The Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ & Exporters’ Association, and a delegation of 33 people from The Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ & Exporters’ Association visited Xinyi Malaysian Industrial Park, and received welcome from Lee Shing Put, Xinyi Group non-executive director, Liu Xiaorong, vice president of Xinyi Group Malaysia, Sin Kok Hin, Assistant General Manager of Finance department of Xinyi Group Malaysia, Datuk Phang Ah Tong, Consultant of Xinyi Group Malaysia, Sze Kam Pui, Finance department and the others management team.
At the meeting, Director Lee expressed sincere welcome to the delegation and gave a detailed introduction to the development of Xinyi Group and the Xinyi Group's construction of industrial park in Malacca, Malaysia as a response to the Belt and Road Initiative. In order to make the delegation know more about Xinyi Group and Xinyi Malaysian Industrial Park, the company promotional film was broadcast at the meeting, and the general situation of Malaysian Industrial Park was introduced in detail by Assistant General Manager Sin Ket Hin. Vice chairman Leung Chun-ying expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of Xinyi Group and briefed on the import and export trade between Hong Kong and Mainland China. The delegation visited Xinyi Malaysian Industrial Park and Malaysia in order to increase exchanges and communication between Hong Kong and ASEAN countries and promote import and export trade between the two sides. Lam Lung On, the current president of The Hong Kong Chinese Importers' & Exporters' Association also made a speech introducing the basic situation of The Hong Kong Chinese Importers' & Exporters' Association and the purpose of the trip. In order to give the delegation team more in-depth understanding of Xinyi Industrial Park in Malaysia, the group and company management team accompanied the delegation to visit the production line. Liu Xiaorong, vice president of Xinyi Group Malaysia, introduced the industrial scale and glass production process of the industrial park in detail. After visiting the production line, the two sides joined a dinner held in the industrial park.
